A: The web site migration service offered by Mind2Web Hosting is completely free and consists of transferring all your web files, databases and e–mails from your present hosting provider to your brand–new hosting account with us. We’ll also edit all the settings necessary for your websites to be fully operational on our ultra–modern cloud hosting platform.Our techs are fully capable of transferring just about any web site. With years of practical experience in the industry, they are well–versed in the inner workings of our cloud hosting platform, our Control Panel as well as all other commonly used Control Panels. For them, moving a custom–made web app with numerous custom libraries is as elementary as transferring a simple WordPress weblog.

A: We try to implement all web site migrations as fast as possible. Still, we do not have a fixed time frame for web site migrations. There are several aspects that you need to take into consideration – the mere size of your web site and the workload of our web site migration staff, etc. We constantly strive to implement each migration in under 48 hours. With less sizeable web sites, our team usually manages to finish in less than 24 hours.

A: We will require the login details for your old hosting provider’s Control Panel and the web site’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share the same information you have provided to your present host. We also have a very strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how delicate info is handled.

A: While we transfer your website, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your previous hosting provider. When the transfer is over, we will make sure that everything is functioning correctly and that the integrity of your data is not affected before telling you that the transfer is complete. Then we’ll tell you how to transfer the domain over to your hosting account with us and how to modify the DNS resource records.

A: While we migrate your content, your web hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t touch base with them in any way.

A: Yup. We support all traditional Linux–powered web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based hosting platforms, as we do not provide Windows web hosting solutions ourselves.Furthermore, we do not support proprietary web site building and administration interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
